Peacock
Sharing foods and flavors of the Eastern Mediterranean — think North Africa, Greece, Israel, and Lebanon — is the worldly inspiration behind The Peacock Mediterranean Grill. Mezze and wood-grilled fare is colorful and loosely plated, healthy and wholesome. Underneath twinkling rope fixtures hung in various heights, everything is fresh and fragrant — even the natural wines, and light spirits mixed with lots of fresh herbs, fruits and citrus.
La Piscina
Elevated above the city with commanding sunset views, but still connected to it, is our poolside Mexican restaurant and refreshing raw bar. We invite you to sit by the engaging open kitchen and watch tortillas griddling on the open comal. Here, antojitos are made to order, and platters are piled high with fragrant, wood-grilled fare. Serious but not taking itself too seriously, poolside drinks include playful cocktails, frozen margaritas, and a spotlight on native tequilas and mezcals.
Goldies Sunken Bar
Private Guest Only Cocktail bar. Imagine a little old-fashioned back room, with whispers of a Turkish bar... Translated through Austin's cool, laid-back vibe. Its mix of pink marble tables and warm copper is illuminated by the glow of hand-crocheted covers on suspended glass globes. Seating at the actual sunken bar inspires in-depth conversation, while a 16-foot sofa with bolsters beckons guests to linger over boutique wines, supercall sips and garden-fresh cocktails.
Kappo Kappo ( New)
French Japanese Omakase restaurant now open at Austin Proper Hotel. A5 wagyu and pristine seafood served at an intimate chef's counter in a Kelly Wearstler-designed space that brings you into the experience. Each evening unfolds like a conversation - unexpected, personal, and rooted in place.

Our King rooms layer textures, patterns and materials that are modern interpretations of historic Craftsman architecture. Luxurious beds dressed with crisp Italian linens and custom throws, handsome bathrooms clad in Blue Emperador marble, and bedside controls for lighting and blackout shades. 345 square feet.
Premiere King
Premier King guest rooms offer city views from luxurious king beds or a curvaceous settee in the adjacent living area. Works from local artists hang on walls clad in regional Elmwood, fluffy imported towels and Parachute Home robes hang in the marble bath, and controls for shades, lighting and Apple TV are all bedside. 375 square feet.
Premiere Double Queen
Tailored to multiple guests, spacious Premier Double Queen rooms offer luxuriously outfitted Proper beds, living space for working, dining or lounging, marble baths, premium WiFi and Apple TV. 380 square feet.
Premiere King View
Floor to ceiling windows flood this room with natural light, as well as inspiring city views. A work table and settee anchor a stylish living space; a handsome bath is clad in marble and outfitted with Parachute home robes and Aesop amenities. 330 square feet.
Premiere King Balcony
There's plenty of space to stretch out and unwind from your own private balcony, or from the live/work sitting area indoors, or from the Proper bed, dressed with imported linens. Generous marble baths feature walk-in showers, fluffy Italian towels, Aesop amenities and Parachute Home robes. 385 square feet.
Junior Suite King
Take in in the natural light including floor-to-ceiling windows, whether ensconced in a king bed dressed in crisp Italian linens, or lounging in the adjacent living area; there is plenty of space to stretch out and unwind in any of our Junior Suite King layouts. Penthouse Suite
The apex of Austin Proper is a Kelly Wearstler-designed, one bedroom, 1.5 bath penthouse suite, with a 550 square-foot furnished private terrace. Wander through this layered, residential-style interior, from the bedroom, with a king bed dressed in crisp Fili D'Oro linens, to the marble bath with double vanities and a luxurious soaking tub, to the living and dining area, complete with wet bar, taking in the epic city and sunset views from every space, including the tub.
