The hotel was opened in 1958 by Giuseppe Cipriani, attracting prestigious personalities every decade since, including Yves Saint Laurent, Elizabeth Taylor and Anna Wintour. The design is a contemporary melting pot of international style, reflecting the dynamic heritage and tastes of its guests while echoing the glorious romance of Venice. In the 67 rooms and suites, plush textures, lavish fabrics and a cinematic sense of style complement the mesmerizing views through the window. Mornings may begin with a lavish breakfast, a treatment in the sublime spa, alfresco yoga or a lesson on the tennis court. Il Bacaro Dior At Hotel Cipriani
Set on the fondamenta with showstopping views of St Mark’s, this is the perfect spot for inviting aperitifs and ‘cicchetti’ – typical bites made with local ingredients. Open from 18:30 to 23:30, Tuesday to Sunday.

Junior Suite Lagoon View With Balcony
Balconies or terraces, some equipped with sunbeds, table and chairs, afford breathtaking views of the lagoon. All are equipped with king or twin beds. Oversized bathrooms offer a bathtub and, in most cases, a separate shower. Nespresso machines are available in the majority of rooms, many of which are connecting.
Garden View Suite
Located in the Cipriani building or at Palazzo Vendramin, these suites overlook the lush Casanova gardens, where the famous Venetian used to meet his lovers. All offer king-size or twin beds and enjoy a separate living room. Some have balconies. Generous marble bathrooms include a bathtub and separate shower. One suite can connect to a Junior Suite Garden View and Balcony.

Serene views over the lagoon are offered from these expansive suites, which feature a balcony or terrace. Each offers a king-size or twin bed and an elegant living room, and some have a Nespresso coffee maker. Large marble bathrooms offer a bathtub and separate shower. Some rooms are connecting.

Our most opulent suite features 180-degree views of the Venetian lagoon through floor-to-ceiling windows. An airy living room leads onto a private balcony and an elegant dining area is perfect for hosting small dinner parties, served by a personal butler. In addition, there’s a generous terrace with an outdoor heated plunge pool including a Jacuzzi whirlpool. The master bedroom, with king-size bed, offers panoramic vistas. A Nespresso machine is available in most of the rooms. In the two marble bathrooms, daylight floods in through expansive windows. A complimentary water-taxi is available for transfers from and to the airport, railway station or car terminal on arrival and departure. The suite can be connected on request.
