Dining
J Bar
Throughout Hotel Jerome’s rich history, the Jerome Bar or J-Bar as it is locally known, has been one of the town’s most popular spots to gather and recount the day’s adventures. From the silver miners of the late 19th century, who would belly up to the bar to celebrate their good fortune to today’s Hollywood stars who celebrate the authentic character of Aspen nightlife, the J-Bar continues to be a place of good times and good drink.
The Garden
A social escape with unobstructed views of Aspen Mountain, a moment of respite from the flurry of downtown. The lush landscape of exquisite seasonal blooms creates a visual feast while our culinary garden indulges the palate. The genesis of our epicurean compass is the abundance of unique local microclimates that provide an ever-changing array of fresh produce. The menu gives the kitchen the perfect canvas on which to feature the work of local ranchers, and fishermen alike. Staying true to the "Garden to Glass" philosophy, the cocktail program is designed to highlight the best of the season and showcase the herbs & flowers grown in our own garden. Wines from around the world are carefully selected placing a strong focus on sustainable and biodynamic practices.
Prospect
A charming mountain countryside atmosphere creates a cozy and convivial feel where families can sink into sumptuous furnishings and enjoy reminiscing over the day’s explorations. The communal setting encourages couples and friends to share stories with nearby neighbors forging new friendships. Prospect focuses on the bounty of the region’s hunters, ranchers, and fishermen, balanced perfectly with delicate local produce. Cocktails take inspiration from the land, and a focused selection of wines from around the world are carefully selected to complement the jovial environment.
The Living Room
The heartbeat of the Jerome, the gathering place where friends, lovers, and strangers alike tell stories, imbibe and indulge. A Journey through the last century culminates with an eclectic collection of artifacts, creating a unique sense of time and place. Complementing the space, a selection of refined small bites and modern cocktails with character are crafted with complex simplicity. The wines are true expressions of the global terroir, seen through the eyes of winemakers and vintners, both famous and infamous.
Bad Harriett
Named after the wife of our original developer and proprietor, Jerome B. Wheeler, Bad Harriet celebrates powerful women throughout history through innovative craft cocktails, avant garde technique and refined presentations. The guest experience, designed to envelop the senses, offers patrons the choice of an a la carte cocktail experience, “The Earnest,” or the multi-course “The Soiree,” a prix fixe bookable endeavor featuring a set menu inclusive of cocktails and bites available. The seats at the bar will also be made available on a first-come, first-served basis for walk-ins to get a taste of the Bad Harriet experience.
Felix Roasting Co.
Felix Roasting Co. has unveiled its first location outside of New York City at the historic Hotel Jerome. Founded by Matt Moinian and award-winning interior designer Ken Fulk, Felix is a contemporary coffee concept and roasting company from an eclectic team of visionaries set out to redefine coffee culture. The Aspen outpost brings the best of Felix to the Rockies, serving their signature hot and cold beverages, delicate bites and an extensive menu of specialty drinks, each meticulously infused with Felix’s house-made non-dairy milks, proprietary syrups and tonics, and custom spice blends.
