Highlights
Hotel Sosei Sapporo – MGallery Colleciton is a 21st-century reinterpretation of a Sapporo pioneer’s residence. A living tribute to the city’s heritage where past meets present, East meets West, and timeless sophistication meets modern comfort. The hotel features 118 rooms and suites. In tribute to the city’s pioneer legacy, the guest rooms embrace the essence of Japanese-Western fusion, creating comfortable spaces where distinctive features from both worlds harmoniously coexist. Sapporo, the birthplace of Japanese beer, continues this legacy today. While references to this tradition can be found throughout the hotel, it is in the restaurant that you can truly explore this universe. In this gastronomic eatery, the decoration is inspired by old German breweries. On the menu? Locally influenced culinary dishes with international twists, as well as a wide selection of fish purchased at the fish auctions in the sprawling city market – an age-old practice still appreciated today.

Dining
Restaurant
The restaurant at Hotel Sosei Sapporo – MGallery Collection offers a unique flavor by combining carefully selected local ingredients with international ideas. The interior design is inspired by the décor of German breweries from the time when Seibei Nakagawa, the first Japanese beer brewer to succeed in brewing in Hokkaido, learned beer making in Germany. Details such as layered art decorations expressing the passion for beer brewing and koji making research, as well as art walls using beer bottles, are incorporated with traditional brewery elements, providing an unforgettable dining experience that stimulates the senses.
Bar Lounge
The bar lounge at Hotel Sosei Sapporo – MGallery Collection features an ancient copper beer kilns-inspired fireplace, which adds a captivating touch to the ambiance. Here, you can indulge in the flavors of the local area, including Sapporo beer, Kaitakushi Beer crafted at the brewery across the street, and Hokkaido wine. Additionally, you can delight in a diverse selection of cocktails skillfully prepared by our mixologists. Take in the intricate details of the interior design, inspired by the pioneering history of the region, while relaxing by the flickering flames of the fireplace and enjoying top-notch drinks. For guests staying in the Executive room type, we also offer light snacks and beverages during afternoon tea and evening cocktails.
