A perfect interplay of craftsmanship, tradition, pleasure and elegance symbolises the style of chef Franz-Josef Unterlechner. Precise artistry is combined with subtle flavour and aromatics. Serving straightforward regional dishes, the Schwarzreiter Tagesbar represents the more casual part of the Schwarzreiter dining experience. The grand hotel's tradition inspired them to the name "Schwarzreiter". It derives from a char that can only be found in the depths of an Alpine lake, which—when smoked over wood—was a favorite dish of King Ludwig II, the son of King Maximilian II.
