Highlights
A 15th-century Venetian palace reawakens after an eight-year renovation by architect Aline Asmar d’Amman. Built under the reign of master architect Filippo Calendario, known for the Doge’s Palace, Palazzo Donà Giovannelli was later transformed in the 1800s by architect Gian Battista Meduna and beautified with layers of Neo-Gothic and Baroque splendor. Once home to the Duke of Urbino and the Donà and Giovannelli families, it later became a Pinacoteca. Now, through Orient Express, it begins a new hospitality chapter, honoring the legacy of a noble mansion while embracing the spirit of the iconic hotel brand. Just ten minutes from the historic quay, the palace gleams anew, its courtyard, terraces, and garden inviting exploration.

HEINZ BECK VENEZIA
Open from Tuesday to Saturday, 6:30 PM – 10:00 PM, the restaurant offers a fine-dining experience featuring both à la carte selections and six- or eight-course tasting menus, expressing the Chef’s philosophy of balance, lightness, and Mediterranean purity. Our à la carte experience is available for parties of up to four guests. For larger parties, we graciously invite the entire table to embark on the same tasting journey, allowing our kitchen to curate a perfectly balanced and harmonious gastronomic experience.
WAGON BAR
Open from 18:00 PM to 00:30 AM, the Wagon Bar offers light bites, aperitif, and cocktails in an intimate Art Deco–inspired setting. A service with food and drinks will be available in the Corte del Conte Lobby area and at Ombra Garden outdoor seating.
VICTORIA BALLROOM
An elegant historic hall where breakfast is served daily from 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM. The space may also host private events and celebrations, offering a refined and timeless atmosphere for exclusive gatherings.
LA CASATI
The restaurant welcomes guests daily from 12:30 PM to 10:00 PM, with lunch served from 12:30 PM to 3:00 PM and dinner from 6:30 PM to 10:00 PM. Between services, guests may continue to enjoy a selection of small bites and classic Venetian cicchetti, offering a relaxed yet refined dining experience at any hour. During the warmer months, our outdoor garden provides an elegant al fresco setting to complement the cuisine.
