Highlights
Unveiling a fresh, contemporary luxury throughout, the AAA Five Diamond Phoenician presents personalized experiences that are rare and memorable by design. The result of the most massive renovation undertaken since the property opened in October 1988, the resort has transformed itself, introducing a diverse collection of offerings that honor both guest and destination. Our three year renovation was completed in the summer of 2019 which included a refurbished main lobby, renovation of casitas and guestrooms, The Thirsty Camel Lounge, Afternoon Tea Room, retail space, and pool complex with both VIP and children's areas. The Marketplace, a European-inspired café, Mowry & Cotton, a lively, approachable venue featuring Modern American cuisine, and The Tavern, a bar which offers a casual atmosphere for burgers and beers overlooking the golf area, also premiered, joining signature restaurant J&G Steakhouse. Additionally our three-story Phoenician Spa, featuring a rooftop pool and Drybar; The Phoenician Athletic Club, with tennis, pickleball and basketball courts, as well as a state-of-the-art fitness center; and a completely redesigned and rerouted 18-hole golf course have complemented our premier resort to offer our guests a variety of activities.

In the English tradition, afternoon tea is served daily in the Lobby Tea Court. Classical music provides a charming backdrop for a genteel afternoon break.
J&G Steakhouse
The stylish and spectacular brainchild of Jean-Georges Vongerichten, one of the world’s most influential chefs and restaurateurs, J&G Steakhouse offers a sophisticated collection of steakhouse classics in a setting dominated by a rich palate and natural materials. Dinner only, open seven days a week.
Thirsty Camel Lounge
Cherish the panoramic views of Scottsdale, AZ, and the valley beyond while sampling a light dining menu and signature collection of handcrafted cocktails. Every offering at Thirsty Camel showcases a love and admiration for the Sonoran Desert.
The Tavern

This oversized room with limited or partially obstructed views, feature one king or two queen beds, imported Italian linen, signed original artwork and rich Berber carpeting. The oversized bathroom is decorated with Italian marble and has a separate bath and shower. Full-width sliding glass doors lead to a private terrace or balcony complete with a lounge chair and table setting.
Deluxe View Room
This oversized room features mountain or city views, with some offering close proximity to the pool area, or magnificent sunset views. The rooms have two queens or one king bed, feature imported Italian linen, signed original artwork and rich Berber carpeting. The oversized bathroom is decorated with Italian marble and has a separate bath and shower. Full-width sliding glass doors lead to a private terrace or balcony where you may enjoy your view of the resort's dramatic surroundings.
Grand Deluxe View
These rooms have two queen or one king bed, feature imported Italian linen, signed original artwork and rich Berber carpeting. The oversized bathroom is decorated with Italian marble and has a separate bath and shower. Full-width sliding glass doors lead to a private terrace or balcony where you may enjoy your view of the resort's dramatic surroundings.
Casita Fire Table Guestroom
The Casita Guestrooms offer an easy-to-reach alternative to a standard guest room. Sliding doors provide incredible views and open to a terrace furnished with table and chairs, outdoor fire table as well as other comfortable seats. Casita accommodations are a collection of 12, two-story buildings featuring 119 guestrooms and suites. Casitas are opposite the main building, separated by The Phoenician Pools and Necklace lake, each offering doorstep parking. Locations and views vary. Guests may either call for complimentary transportation to various resort areas, or anticipate a brief stroll to property venues, including an approximate 300-yard walk to the main building.
Executive Suite
The bedroom is furnished with a king-size bed, writing desk, entertainment center and a full marble bath with separate tub and shower. From the bedroom you can walk out to a separate terrace with chairs and comfortable seating where you can relax and savor the desert calm.
Casita Suite
This private suite features a large parlor with double sliding doors, dining table and a conversation area facing a beautifully carved travertine fireplace. An oversized bath has a double-sink vanity with separate tub and shower. Casita accommodations are a collection of 12, two-story buildings featuring 119 guestrooms and suites. Casitas are opposite the main building, separated by The Phoenician Pools and Necklace lake, each offering doorstep parking. Locations and views vary. Phoenician Suite
The Phoenician Suite is a great place to entertain. A full wall of sliding glass doors allows in the desert light and opens to a large terrace fully furnished with tables, chairs and chaise lounges. The bedroom features a king bed, a second entertainment center, a sitting area, walk-in closet and a marble bath with separate tub and shower.
Presidential Suite
Our Presidential Suite offers breathtaking views of tree-lined fairways, mountains and the city beyond. The grand foyer entrance leads to a pair of contemporary living spaces, including a fireplace. Floor-to-ceiling windows and sliding glass doors overlook an expansive covered patio. Enjoy dining for six, with service from a full kitchen with separate butler entrance.
