1906
Named after the year the hotel was opened in Trump Turnberry’s signature restaurant, 1906. With unrivalled coastal views stretching for miles, there are few places where food, wine and location come together as beautifully as 1906. Working closely with local suppliers, the Trump Turnberry chefs have created an indigenous menu using a medley of seasonal, Scottish ingredients taking inspiration from the land and sea surrounding the resort. Each dish featured is a classic that would be instantly recognisable to any one of our guests over the past hundred years, yet this is cooking very much of its age and of its setting as “progress in harmony with the past” is a philosophy we’ve taken to heart here in 1906.
The Grand Tea Lounge & Bar
At the heart of Trump Turnberry is the elegant Grand Tea Lounge & Bar. Here, you can experience our famous afternoon tea in a relaxed yet refined atmosphere. Let our Tea Sommeliers guide you through a choice of over thirty teas, in collaboration with Twinnings, all brewed to order using a traditional samovar. Guests can also indulge in champagne by the glass and a light menu of finger sandwiches and pastries. Also available is a special Hendricks Gin Afternoon Tea, served in a traditional teapot with a delicious selection of sandwiches and cakes. As dusk settles, The Grand Tea Lounge & Bar comes live as a meeting place for pre and post dinner drinks. Treat yourself to one of our signature cocktails or sample on of our several whiskies behind the bar, recommended by one of our knowledgeable bartenders.
The Duel in the Sun
Turnberry’s 19th hole is the unforgettable Duel in the Sun restaurant. Named after the famous battle between Tom Watson & Jack Nicklaus at the 1977 Open, it overlooks both the opening and closing holes of both the Alisa and King Robert the Bruce golf courses. With a relaxed atmosphere and delicious dining on offer, it is a must visit during your stay at Trump Turnberry.
King of Scots Grill, Halfway House
Whether you are taking on the challenge of the Ailsa course or out for a bracing stroll to admire the spectacular scenery that Turnberry is renowned for, then stop to enjoy a refreshment at the Halfway House. Situated within Turnberry’s iconic lighthouse between the 9th & 10th holes of the Ailsa course, this unique location is the perfect spot to soak up the resort’s rich history or reflect on nine holes played over a light bite. Refreshments include salads, pies, paninis and soups.
The Chef's Table
Accommodating up to 10 guests, the Chef’s Table is situated within the heart of Turnberry’s main kitchen. Located within the Trump Turnberry hotel kitchen, enjoy an unrivaled atmosphere while observing culinary magic. Our Chef’s will create a bespoke dining experience for you or alternatively, choose our unique ‘Chef’s Table Uncorked’ where the Chef and Sommelier will create a six-course epicurean surprise menu with paired wines. Each experience at The Chef’s Table is unique as the dishes change according to the seasons, the weather and the daily supply of local ingredients. The Chef’s Table can be exclusively available for dinner seven days a week for a minimum of six guests, or on most evenings, as a shared table experience.

Additionally, each living room has a bespoke design with all the individual touches you might wish for to make your stay unique, whilst in the separate bedroom, over the hand carved walnut burl mahogany bed hangs a beautiful canopy, inspired by Turnberry’s indigenous tartan, with complementing hand crafted bedside tables featuring delicate gold leaf detail. The Lighthouse Suite
Set on the ruins on Robert the Bruce’s Castle, the Turnberry lighthouse has been heralded as a legendary beacon to passing ships and to golfers from across the globe. Now, it is also home to one of the world’s finest suites. The Turnberry Villa Bedrooms are situated within the grounds of the the hotel and are in close proximity to all the leisure and dining facilities in the resort. Our Villa Bedrooms are the perfect accommodation for individual couples and groups alike. Each room is generously sized featuring an en-suite bathroom available in either King or Twin. Guests can take advantage of direct access from their Villa Bedroom to the Lands of Turnberry to enjoy the many outdoor facilities on offer. For guest convenience, a shuttle service is available to and from the Villas to the main hotel.
Exclusive Use Villas
The Exclusive Use Villas are situated in the grounds of the hotel, in close proximity to all resort facilities. These are the ideal accommodations for large groups, with luxurious rooms featuring en-suite bathrooms and entertainment systems. The exceptionally spacious rooms are traditionally furnished with a choice of double or twin beds and provide a relaxed holiday environment. Alternatively, golfers travelling as couples may wish to enjoy the facilities of the individual without requiring access to the communal lounge intended for larger parties.
Two Bedroom Cottage Suites – Self Catering
A new home away from home, these captivating self-catering Cottage Suites are perfect for a gathering with family or friends. Available for three, four and seven nights stays, this intimate accommodation comprises of a lounge, fully equipped kitchen and two luxury bedrooms, altogether curating the perfect setting. Guests may enjoy privileged access to Turnberry Adventures, Turnberry Stables, Trump Kids Club, The Wee Explorers Crèche Time as well as residential rates on Trump Turnberry's championship golf courses and unlimited use of the Spa facilities.
