Highlights
Wilderness Magashi Peninsula is an ultra-luxury camp set on a private 6,000-hectare concession in Rwanda’s Akagera National Park. Overlooking Lake Rwanyakazinga and the Mutumba Mountains, the camp offers exceptional privacy and personalized service, centered around its beautifully appointed villa, which comes with a dedicated guide, chef, and tailored safari activities. Akagera’s varied habitats provide outstanding wildlife encounters, including lion, leopard, white and eastern black rhino, buffalo, Masai giraffe, and over 520 bird species such as the rare shoebill. Guests can explore the area on game drives, scenic boating safaris, birding excursions, and catch-and-release fishing, with opportunities to participate in meaningful wildlife tracking. Magashi Peninsula pairs perfectly with gorilla trekking at Wilderness Bisate Reserve for a balanced Rwandan safari journey.
