Prague is the unmissable gateway; the Vltava and Elbe carry shallow-draft ships through intimate towns such as Mělník, Litoměřice and Děčín toward Dresden and Berlin. The country’s real riches—spa towns, UNESCO squares, Moravian cities—are best experienced as carefully chosen overland extensions.

Ports overview
