  1. Day 1

    Callao-Lima, Peru

Callao is Peru’s working maritime gateway, but its appeal extends beyond the harbour. From here, Lima’s historic centre and museums are within reach. In Callao, explore the imposing Real Felipe Fortress, built to defend the port, then visit La Punta for Pacific views. Stay for ceviche and discover a city shaped by trade, naval history and the ocean.

  2. Day 2

    At Sea (At Sea)

  3. Day 3

    Paita (Ask Travel Agent)

  4. Day 4

Isla de la Plata Ecuador, Ecuador

Off Ecuador’s Pacific coast, Isla de la Plata brings wildlife within reach without a journey to the Galápagos. Boat trips from Puerto López lead to trails where blue-footed boobies and frigatebirds nest. Guides interpret the island’s dry forests and coastal ecology. Between June and September, humpback whales may be seen in surrounding waters. Bring sturdy shoes and sun protection; exploring the island means walking exposed trails.

  5. Day 6

    At Sea (At Sea)

  6. Day 7

    Land Tour (Land Tour)

  7. Day 8

    Panama Canal, Panama

Few journeys change your sense of scale like a passage through the Panama Canal. This 50-mile waterway links the Atlantic and Pacific, lifting ships through locks and across Gatun Lake. Watch the gates close, water rise, and a vast vessel move within inches of concrete walls. On deck, the engineering is the spectacle; beyond it, rainforest edges the route. Bring binoculars, and stay outside for the crossing.

  8. Day 9

    San Blas Islands Panama, Panama

San Blas is no conventional cruise port. More than 300 islands and cays fringe Panama’s Caribbean coast. Here, clear water and white-sand beaches meet Guna Yala, an Indigenous territory with a distinct culture. Choose a boat outing for reef snorkeling, or visit a Guna community and discover mola textiles, sewn by Guna women. Access and transport require advance planning, typically through a local operator or community.

  9. Day 10

    Cartagena Colombia, Colombia

A short ride from Cartagena’s cruise port brings you to its UNESCO-listed historic centre and handsome colonial streets. Inside the old walls, flower-draped balconies, shaded plazas and broad stone lanes lead to cafés, churches and lively markets. Visit Castillo San Felipe de Barajas, the great fortress built to defend the harbor, then explore colorful Getsemaní. Come early, before the midday heat settles over the plazas, and save time for a cool drink beside the Caribbean.

  10. Day 11

    At Sea (At Sea)

  11. Day 12

    Kralendijk Bonaire, Netherlands

Kralendijk is Bonaire’s compact, sunlit capital, where pastel Dutch-Caribbean buildings line a waterfront made for an easy first stroll. Beyond town, Bonaire’s protected reefs begin close to shore, drawing divers and snorkellers to clear water and abundant marine life. Rent a car or join an excursion to explore Washington Slagbaai National Park, salt pans and flamingo habitat. Back in Kralendijk, browse local shops, then settle beside the sea for fresh fish and a view of Klein Bonaire.

  12. Day 13

    At Sea (At Sea)

  13. Day 14

    Bequia Island

Port Elizabeth sits on Bequia’s Admiralty Bay, where fishing boats and yachts share a sheltered anchorage. Step ashore into a compact waterfront of cafés and shops, then follow the Belmont Walkway towards Princess Margaret Beach. Bequia’s boatbuilding tradition remains visible in its working yards and local craft. Come for unhurried island life, swimming in clear water and views across the Grenadines.

  14. Day 15

    Scarborough

Scarborough is Tobago’s capital, a busy port town with a market, local shops and views across the water. Begin at Fort King George, high above town, for broad sea views and a small museum tracing Tobago’s layered past. Then browse the central market or take a short drive to Store Bay, known for calm water and local food. Scarborough rewards travelers who want history and everyday Tobago before heading for the island’s beaches.

  15. Day 16

    At Sea (At Sea)

  16. Day 18

    Ile Royale Island (Scenic Stop)

  17. Day 19

    At Sea (At Sea)

  18. Day 20

    Belem, Brazil

Belém stands near the mouth of the Amazon, where river life and city life meet. Begin at Ver-o-Peso, a vast waterfront market alive with Amazonian fish, fruit, herbs and local cooking. Explore the old quarter’s tiled façades and the 17th-century Forte do Presépio, overlooking Guajará Bay. Order tacacá or fresh açaí, and discover a city whose flavors are as distinctive as its setting.
